Film State Finalists Announced
After three rounds of judging the finalists in the UIL Young Filmmaker Festival have been announced. The contest started with 750 entries and the State audience will get to see the final forty-eight in the two divisions and six categories. Congratulations!
Films Advancing to Round 2 - State Quarter-Finals Announced
The films advancing to the UIL Young Filmmakers Festival second round of competition have been posted on the film website. Congratulations to the 700 plus film producers that started this process.

Procedures for Looking Up Available Judges Now Posted
The Texas Theatre Adjudicators and Officials have provided us with instructions on how to look up available judges. Please go to the link on the Contest Manager and Adjudicator page on the UIL website. The information is based on updates from the individual adjudicators.
New TTAO Web-Based Tabulation System and Instructions Now Posted
A new panel tabulation tool is now online. The web-based calculator, created by the TTAO for the benefit of our Contest Managers, replaces the TalkTab software in One-Act Play only. This tool is specific to the needs of OAP. It can be used with Mac and PC. Our thanks to TTAO for this wonderful new tool.
Contest Manger Certification Exam Now Open
The Certification Exam for UIL One-Act Play Contest Managers is now available. Please follow the instructions at this link. The exam should take approximately one hour and is composed of 11 units that may be taken at different times. Don't forget to come back to the instructions after you complete your exam and fill out the form so we can register you online.
First Handbook for A+ OAP Junior High Contests is now online
The interactive pdf Handbook for A+ One-Act Play Junior High Contests is now available on the Theatre site under "Resources and Forms," "Contest Manager Information" and "Junior High Contests."
22nd Edition of the High School One-Act Play Handbook Now Online
The new interactive pdf version of the 22nd edition is now online. As a pdf, you can download it to your iPad, Android, phone, laptop or if you're like me, print a copy.
The A+ Middle School OAP Handbook will be out late August.
